Introduction

Journey into the heart of Kashmir, the cradle of Sharada, revered as the Sarvajna Peetha (the seat of all Knowledge), a land steeped in the wisdom of ancient Rishis and erudite scholars across diverse fields of knowledge.

In the 7th century AD, Hieun Tsnag marveled at the fluency with which Sanskrit flowed from the lips of Kashmiri women and children, with Sharada as their primary script for Sanskrit.

Sharada Lipi, a script rooted in the Brahmic family, has thrived in the northern expanse of India, notably in Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab, with its traces extending to Afghanistan. With the oldest text of this script dating back to the 3rd century CE, the Sharada Lipi echoes through thousands of manuscripts, many of which remain undiscovered in libraries worldwide.

Our Indica Course is a humble endeavor to revive this script and unlock the knowledge enshrined within these ancient manuscripts.
