Introduction

The Samkshipta-Ramayanam is the first chapter of Bala Kanda in Valmiki’s Ramayana, often considered as significant as the Adi-Kavya (the original epic itself). This abridged version of the Ramayana consists of 100 shlokas, elegantly narrating the entire story of the epic in a concise yet profound manner. It serves as an ideal starting point for Sanskrit learners, offering both linguistic and literary insights into the first classical Sanskrit text.

This course is designed to help learners:
