
Dr. Kamini Gogri

Dr. Kamini Gogri, recipient of the Kutch Shakti National Award (2013), is a distinguished scholar, speaker, and educator with a Ph.D. in Philosophy, with a specialization in Jainism. Her expertise spans Consciousness Studies, Mysticism, Bhakti Traditions, Prakrit, Buddhism, Jainism, and Shaivism.
She is currently serving as a Project Consultant on the international project “Jain Prosopography” at SOAS Jain Centre, London, and is the Head of Research in Ancient Scriptures at the Eikam Resonance Foundation. In addition, she advises an OTT platform on Jainism, and serves as an Executive Member of the Scholars Committee, Jain Agam Mission, Uvassagaharam Sadhana Trust.
Dr. Gogri is also on the Board of the Center for Indian Studies at AL Zahra University, Tehran, and was awarded the INDIC Academy Fellowship (2020–21). She collaborates internationally with scholars including Prof. Anne Vallely (Canada), Prof. Tanim (Bangladesh), and Prof. Wimal (Sri Lanka) on interfaith and comparative studies of Jainism and Buddhism.
She has been invited to deliver lectures and present at conferences across Canada, the USA, South Korea, the UK, and Belgium, and plays an active role in interfaith dialogueas an expert on Jainism with HWPL, South Korea. Dr. Gogri is also working with the German government on developing interfaith-based legal frameworks.
An avid marathon runner with Run India Run and a passionate traveler, she brings dynamic energy to all her endeavors. She is also a Visiting Faculty for M.A. in Philosophy and History at Mumbai University, and a committed philosophical counsellor focused on integrating emotional well-being with cognitive development.
As the founder of the Igniting Mind Foundation, she is devoted to youth leadership and women’s empowerment, especially in rural India.
